The process :
The fabric is scoured and bleached to remove impurities, then the fabric is treated with a mordant, such as alum, which helps the dye adhere to the fibers. The desired patterns are printed onto the fabric using wooden blocks dipped in the dye, then immersed in a dye bath to fix the color after that the fabric is washed to remove excess dye and dried in the sun.
